Hotel Kämp is one of Helsinki's most storied luxury hotels, and the audio in its main lobby and hotel bar needed to meet the same standard as everything else in the building. The brief carried an unusual constraint: the installation itself could not disturb the guests already moving through the spaces it was being built for.
A five-star hotel lobby never closes. Any audio installation has to happen around guests checking in, having a drink at the bar, or simply passing through — without scaffolding, extended cabling work, or anything that signals construction in a space built entirely around guest comfort. At the same time, the sound itself had to match the elegance of the interiors: present, clear, and consistent, never an afterthought.
Spottune Omni speakers were installed using whichever mounting method suited each space — set into existing lighting tracks, suspended, or recessed flush into the ceiling, depending on the room's design. The wireless system operates on a dedicated frequency band, keeping playback stable even in a building dense with other wireless activity — guest devices, hotel systems, and the general radio noise of a busy luxury property.
Because no new cabling was required, the installation moved through the lobby and bar without disrupting service or requiring the spaces to close.
Guests in both the lobby and the bar now experience the same consistent, high-quality sound throughout their visit — audio that matches the standard set by every other detail in the hotel. For staff, day-to-day operation is simple: no manual adjustment, no technical maintenance, just a system that runs reliably in the background.
For luxury hotels where guest experience cannot be interrupted — not even during installation — Hotel Kämp shows what wireless commercial audio delivers: premium sound, fitted to the architecture, without a single disruption to the guests it was built for.
